Sure we can work out the indicative finances to see if the property move is something you are comfortable with. Yes its likely you have to set aside the Basic Retirement Sum before you can use the excess OA for property purchase again.

Basically for your case, a detailed and meticulous financial calculation is indeed crucial for you to make that move. As you already would have your Retirement Account set up so some funds would have been set aside.

It might still be doable so we just need to do a calculation. And ideally you can still free up some cash. We have helped quite a number of couples who were 55 and above make such moves and they are happily residing in their house now.
